I. Purpose of data collection

The purpose of the collection of Personal Data in the Database is to evaluate and contact candidates which are interested and qualified for current or future job vacancies in our company.

You can register with this Database and enter a personal CV, and thereby profile yourself through the given forms. You might want to register your resume as an application for a specific job vacancy as published on the career site on our website, but you can also simply register your resume without reference to a particular job offer. Both applications will be stored in the Database. Even if you are not considered for the vacancy you applied for, we may contact you for other job openings.

II. What information do we collect?

EasyCruit collects several types of information:
    1. CVs and Personal Data
If you allow for the registration of your CV in our Database, this comprises the following details: a) a description of your work experience, skills and education b) contact information with which you as an individual can be identified, e.g. your name, address, e-mail, and telephone ("Personal Data") c) you have the option to attach certain qualifying documents to your CV, for example your resume or certificates in electronic format.

If you have already participated at an interview with us, we may also store a short assessment in this Database. This shall of course not contain defamatory or slanderous information, and shall solely contain information which has a reasonable relation to the assessment and hiring process or your job profile.

    2. Statistics
The CV data might be also used for pseudonym statistics. This information is aggregated. No individual user of the Database can be identified from this information.
    3. Your activities
If you apply for several jobs at the same time or apply again for a different position with us, we will be able to record your activities. Multiple applications are appreciated and by tracking your submissions we are even better at finding a suitable position for you. If you do not want us to record your activities in one file, you may write to us by email or post, and ask us to refrain from doing so. Of course, you can also delete, or ask us to delete only certain pieces of information from the Database.
    4. Log files
If you go on the Database, the server environment you used for that visit can be tracked by an internet protocol address. We store such internet protocol addresses (IP addresses) in their log files for data safety reasons. We shall in no case use the information drawn from these log files for the identification of the users of the Database except for the sole purpose to fight potentially illegal or criminal server attacks which are directed against your data or against the functionality of the Database.

We may also use such IP addresses for the purpose of general and anonymous statistics showing e.g. the amount of visitors, page impressions or similar information, however, we shall not create individual user profiles from such information.
    5. Cookies
This database uses so called session-cookies.

III. With whom do we share your data?

Your CV can be accessed by the HR department and responsible line managers and might be forwarded to other companies of our Group if a CV is considered for other job openings than the one which it was applied for. We will not disclose any other collected information to anyone else under any circumstances.

IV. Who is processing your data?

The Database is powered by Lumesse, Duesseldorf, Germany. The Lumesse servers are maintained and housed by Telecity Group GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. In as far as we or Lumesse wish to use the services of further third parties for the technical maintenance, administration or processing of data, we or Lumesse, as the case may be, shall be entitled to forward your data to these parties to the extent that is required to ensure a smooth and secure technical handling of the Database. Legal privacy provisions will of course be respected in full by any such party. We shall be informed by Lumesse of any such outsorcing of processing without delay.

Additionally, if you wish to view, edit, update or delete your CV or data in the database, our HR and Personnel Department will be pleased to do this for you on request.

We use a variety of methods, such as firewalls, intrusion detection software and manual security procedures, to secure your data against loss or damage and to help protect the accuracy and security of your Personal Data and to prevent unauthorized access or improper use.

Please be aware that the transfer of your data via the internet into and out of the Database is only protected by SSL encryption if the key symbol on your bottom browser line is figured as locked and if the address starts with httpS://www----. With certain data we will use such encryption. Data transfer is then protected via the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) process in connection with a 128 - Bit encryption which prevents third parties to illegally read your data.
